ABOUT US

Guiding Professional Scholars was launched through a devout passion to steer students into PURPOSE. As a company, we believe that all people were created On Purpose, For a Purpose. We perceive that what you aspire to do and become in life directly correlates to discovering your identity, skills, strengths, and deficiencies while journeying to academic and professional success – this requires GUIDANCE. Many times students are expected to maneuver complex systems without the proper direction or resources. We recognize these road blocks and have a strategic plan to assist you in navigating the process.

OUR SERVICES

Our Road Map consists of six major STOPS. We believe that it is essential for students who are beginning the college process to complete all service stops on their journey to success.

Stop Five: Test Preparation – Students will focus on test preparation for the PSAT and both college entrance exams – the SAT/ACT. They will learn valuable test strategy and how to prepare to score high in all testing areas. Students will also have opportunities to take mock exams in between testing cycles.

Stop Six: College Readiness

    Learn More

Stop Six: College Readiness – An Academic Consultant will work efficiently with students to complete all components of the CR process. They will help students develop the writing responses to all college essays and supplements needed for admission. Additionally, they will create a polished, professionally designed extended resume that highlights a student’s major accomplishments throughout their high school career to set them apart from other applicants. This stop also includes an application review to all colleges prior to submission.

*Although we highly recommend that students consider our six steps process, they can take advantage of individualized services specific to their needs.

“Good morning Ms. Brooks. After receiving your referral from my best friend six months ago about GPS, I felt relieved to know that John and I would not be left to figure out the college process on our own. Thank you for your assistance, support, and professionalism. Abby is a pretty shy kid but because you have such a sweet personality you were able make her feel comfortable and ease her anxiety about the process. We can’t thank you enough for all your hard work with her. We wish you the best in all your future endeavors.”
